Our Story
A Cooked Meal began with the simple belief that the heart of a community is found around a shared table. In the charming town of Uniontown, we identified an opportunity to bring neighbors closer through the universal language of home-cooked food. What started with three individuals trying to feed the community has evolved into a non-profit organization dedicated to building relationships.

Cece Cook
CEO, Chairman
Cece is our lead cook for the organization. Cooking and baking are his passions. Finding new ways to serve the community. When he isn't in the kitchen, he's probably conquering one of his many hobbies.Â
Jason Cook
Treasurer
When Jason is not working hard to make events happen. He loves to go out and be in the wilderness, Hiking, Camping, you name it! Always joking and keeping the mood light.Â

Stephanie has a passion for helping people. When she sees a need, she finds a way to try to fill it.
WHERE WE’RE HEADED
Growing Our Table
Our vision is a Uniontown where every neighbor feels at home. We are working to create a fun community by hosting a movie in the park throughout this summer. We are also working to establish a date for a weeknight meal program to ensure that no one in our community has to eat alone. We hope to see 'A Cooked Meal' become a staple of local life, where shared food leads to lasting friendships and a healthier, more connected town for us all. As well as smaller towns throughout the Palouse.
